saRBAY FEST, supposed to be fun!
Getting excited for the last day of Sarbay fest held at white haven, Gumasa, Glan. As we were heading our way to the beach we cannot eradicate the feeling of excitement and the feeling of “what’s in there!” but before we arrived at the location we took our dinner at some grill at Glan to feed our famished tummy.After having our dinner we went directly to resort and as we arrived at the location we found out that we were in the wrong resort, though we were in the place where its packed! However, we need to get into the place where we were intend to rest so we left the area after some interview with DENR members about the sea creatures that were preserved by the Local Government and showcased during Sarbay fest to inform people that our place is riched with beautiful Sea creatures and that it must be protected by the locals so we can continue seeing them in Sarangani area.
As we arrived in the place in which, we thought “we’re exempted to any payments and are free to devour foods that has been served for the media” but to our surprise, all they can offer is a cottage and we are to pay for our entrance. This, ripped our heart as we had expected so much from them. It was very opposite of what their vision and mission are. “To treat visitors in a filipino way..friendly manner and hospitable way.” Such a demise!
We left the place, and felt really down and since were in the back of the pick up with maam Grace and Zandra, we just had funny conversations about monsters, engkantos, agta and other mythical beings while we were traveling along a dark, curvy and very abundant with tall trees road of Sarangani.
We end up sleeping at Brigada station to cover the supposed to be fun trip at Sarbay fest!
If you ask me what I feel: my answer would be indefinite!
